RUUM MANIFESTO
We believe the human mind is the most cinematic territory that exists.
We believe in architecture as emotional language.
We believe in error as part of the process.
We believe in making thought visible through space, sound, and body.
RUUM-LAB is not a production company. It's a laboratory of experiences where each project asks: what does a mind look like from the inside when it feels, remembers, or imagines?
THE ORIGIN
RUUM-LAB was born in 2019 as a platform for artistic research and creation founded by Rubén Nsue. A space where cinema, audiovisual art, architecture, and music converge to explore the inner landscape of the human being.
THE PLATFORM
The platform is divided into two hemispheres, like the brain itself:
LEFT HEMISPHERE: Information, portfolio, Groove Decomposition method documentation, workshops, and project archive.
RIGHT HEMISPHERE: Artistic content, narrative universes, and immersive experiences.

THE VISION
We represent neural activity as architecture. Every mind is a habitable space, every thought a room to discover. RUUM-LAB transforms the abstraction of thought into tangible experience: installation sets where music, performance, and physical space merge to make the invisible visible.
THE FORMATS
RUUM-LAB (Limited Series)
The flagship format. Seasons of five self-contained episodes of 8-10 minutes each. Each chapter orbits around a human figure and their real stories. Architecture recreates mind-spaces: rooms that function as analogies of the protagonist's brain. Literary fiction with a realist edge where space thinks, feels, and remembers.
DOGMA
Process as content. Interviews, making-of, and documentation of the artistic laboratory. Here the creative mechanism is dismantled, methodology is exposed, failure and discovery are shared.
PLAY
Exclusive space for artistic content with political consciousness. Characters, music from other artists, and texts that build stages to recreate alternative universes. Here sensorial exploration intersects with activism: each piece dialogues with its social and political context.
PODCAST
Each episode with a different host and a unique sonic proposal. Original RUUM music, past and future collaborations. A format that challenges its own name: it's not conversation, it's auditory experience.
