Opera Lab ¨The Great (re)Learning¨
Info ↓

Through reworking the music of Cornelius Cardews “The Great Learning” we created The Great (re)Learning, a piece reflecting on the isolation of the corona pandemic, and how to move on from the collective trauma. The Corona pandemic magnified everything, especially the differences between people and all that separates them from each other. Figuring out how to overcome our differences and rebuilding what we have in common, is a process of relearning. Through The Great (re)Learning we explore and relearn how to be physically together. We reconnect to the social, psychological and emotional group dynamics that are essential to the human condition. We embrace the herd mentality to gather and create a collective experience together.
